Old houses reproducing a village of scholars. You may feel the graceful formality of old scholars. There are an indoor garden in the center, ¡°¤±¡± letter-shape women¡¯s part of a house and men¡¯s part of a house. The women¡¯s part has a large hall of 5 by 5 cells, a main room and a kitchen to the right side and Sangbang(Room) and Gobang(Room) and a room in the gate section to the left side.

Kim Mun-gi House
A tile-roofed house comprising women¡¯s part and men¡¯s part. It has a main room of the women¡¯s part, a room across the main room, a little room of the men¡¯s part, a hall and a kitchen in a ¡°¤Ñ¡±letter shape. Its roof forms a Paljak roof. A house for a middle-class family in the Joseon Dynasty. It reflects the spirit of an upright and stiff scholar.

Yeongju Seonbichon(Village)
You may experience various hands-on programs such as learning of traditional manners, Chinese writing, straw roping and natural dyeing. You may have a chance to spend your vacation in a straw-roofing house for two or four persons or a tile-roofed house.

Andong Jang Family¡¯s Head House
It looks as if its women¡¯s part and men¡¯s part form ¡°¤±¡± letter, but they are separate structurally and it has a shrine on the left hill. It is a head house of Jang Mal-son (1431- 1486), who served Saheonbu, Gamchal, Hamgildo and Byeongmajeoldosa (names of government post) during the periods of King Sejo and Seongjo¡¯s ruling.

Duam Old House
A 1 letter-shape straw-roofed house equipped with furniture representing the life of servants. In its storage, several farm devices are exhibited. With this house, we may image the lives of servants who had to manage the life giving up their own dream in this humble house.
